If something on PepUnfiltered breaks the rules, makes you uncomfortable, or puts someone at risk, you can tell the moderators privately. The person you report is never told who reported them.
Option 1: Report a post (fastest)
- Under the post, tap More, then Report a problem.
- Pick the reason: It’s Inappropriate, It’s Spam, It’s Illegal, or Something Else.
- Choosing Something Else lets you write a private note that only moderators can read.
- Tap Report this post. Moderators review every report.
You can report chat messages too: press and hold the message (or hover on a computer), tap the ⋯ button, then Report a problem.
Option 2: Message the moderators privately
For anything that isn’t a single post, like a pattern of behavior, a private message that made you uncomfortable, someone sharing your personal information, or a concern about a moderator:
- Tap Report Privately in the sidebar, or
- Start a new message to the group @moderators
Only the moderator team can see these messages. Include links or screenshots if you can.
Option 3: Ask the Crew: Mod Support chat
For general questions about the rules or the site, use the Ask the Crew: Mod Support chat channel. Please don’t post private reports there, since everyone can see that channel.
Scam reports
Got scammed? Use the Name That Scammer board with your evidence. Reports are reviewed by moderators before they post.
Protecting yourself
- Block (ignore) someone: tap their name, then Ignore, or go to Preferences > Users.
- Mute someone: you won’t get notifications from them.
- Restrict someone quietly in Privacy & Interactions.
In an emergency, or if someone may be in danger, contact local emergency services first.
